I have had such a great experience with putting my belongings in storage, which usually hasn't been a great experience in the past. Joyce stayed on the phone with me waaaay longer than "I" personally would have, if I worked there! She helped me, more than even necessary to be honest, while I'm going through this transition in my life. I appreciate her patience and willingness to help me sort through the chaos I brought to the table that day. Her exact words were "Just take a breath and we will figure this out." 😁 And then to put the 🍒 on top....when I pulled in today, to grab some items that I needed, Darlene was right there, on site, walking the property, to help me in more ways than I can even explain! She's one in a million. I hope this company realizes what they have done by allowing her to be the face for their storage units! She was so personable and never once made me feel like I was taking up too much of her time. This, honestly, has been THE BEST experience I've ever had, when it comes to renting a storage unit (which sometimes isn't pleasant to begin with). If you must store your excess, this is the best option. The manager Darlene and her staff run the site efficiently in every way. It is clean and the rolling carts Roll! Entrance to the site is easy, no keys needed. I would use them again if needed and I would recommend them to friend and foe….Airport Storage 1 is clearly #1.

The storage unit is easy to sign up for and get. Also, accessing the unit was really easy. The manager is a real nice and helpful lady.

Over the years I have had a large unit with doors on both ends, a medium u It and a small unit as my needs changed. One thing never changed. The team. Darlene and Joyce have always been helpful and friendly. The place is spotless inside and out. Well maintained. I left my previous « climate controlled » because I measured the temperature from time to time and the fluctuations were far outside the ranges promised and the management did not care. I needed true consistency and that led me to Airport1 Where my experience in all ways has been the best without caveat.

Airport 1 Self Storage has the best in the business managing their facilities. Darlene has gone way above and beyond the call of duty multiple times for me over the past 13 months. The facilities are always spotless!

I usually don’t leave a review because I feel it’s just a waste of time but if I don’t leave a review for the service I got from this storage and it’s managements then I’m being ungrateful especially to Darline (I don’t know if I spelt the name right 😀). This lady is so sweet and very helpful. She’s always ready to help from the day I got the storage back in September. 10 months now and everything I left in the storage is intact and same as they were, no damage or stolen items. Unfortunately, I left my keys to the storage in Virginia and flew down here to move my stuff. This lady took upon to herself to cut the lock for me while I could’ve done that myself. She said “I got it, I did this before.” She’s very helpful and hold good conversations. Very open-minded woman and who’s down for everyone. I’ll always recommend this storage to friends and God bless y’all hearts for such a great love.

This was the nicest experience I have ever had renting a storage unit . Joyce in the office was fantastic; she was the best customer service person ever !!! I can’t say enough about this place . My son goes to South and needed some extra space for some of his things . This unit is well lit and so very clean .

I've had a storage unit here for close to 2 years now. This place is great, always clean, bathrooms are always clean & smell good, they have nice rolling carts for moving things in & out, a code to get in after hours/weekends, the building is always a perfect temperature (which I especially appreciate when I'm moving things in & out), Darlene in the office is always very nice & pleasant. They have auto-pay option, which is great but they also send an email to remind you if your bill isn't paid on time to help try to avoid the late fee. I've had other storage units in the past that weren't bad but I highly recommend Airport 1 Self Storage. I have had a perfectly pleasant experience all-around with this business.

AirportOne is a top notch facility you can feel 100% confident that your belongings are not only safe but free from the elements. Our entire house was stored with them through a hurricane and not one piece was damaged. I cannot say enough about the wonderful ladies that operate this facility. The way they do buisness especially during this pandemic is just downright awful I sure hope the owner can see this and reaches out to me to chat also be careful if you are 3 days late they charge 20 dollar fee plus lock you out of the building and put a lock on your door 3 days folks during what they say is a world wide pandemic and hurting small buisness owners oh like me, but no type of grace period none it's a shame

This is the best storage facility in Mobile. Facilities are always clean and well kept. Darlene works in the office and makes such a difference to our family. She is always so helpful and kind. She checks on the units and she called me to alert me when I had not secured my unit. That is going above and beyond and is so appreciated. She is wonderful!

I must admit this is the first time ever to have acquired a storage unit but Darlene made it smooth and effortless! Not only did she explain in detail all I needed to know but also showed me around and made me truly comfortable. The facility is super clean, well done and I felt no issues with leaving my things there.
